This website speaks for me and my fellow soldiers. I am an active duty soldier who did time overseas. Reading these poems and looking at the pictures lets me know that others have experienced similar or more than I have experienced. Good job to the creators of this site. The timing is perfect, the poems are well written and composed. Keep up the good work. This is a reminder to soldiers and families everywhere, that they are not forgotten; they are thought of and appreciated, and people out there relate to what they have experienced, are experiencing and will experience.

This is such a moving website and touched my heart deeply…I have so much love and respect for each of our troops out there now and past wars, and their families. I encourage each of our soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines to share their heart through this beautiful tool. Help us to share your world and understand a bit more of your courage, and sacrifice on the frontlines for us. God bless, and know that somebody's always praying for you…

'Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal…' We love you all so much…we want all the soldiers to know, black, white, latino, jew, gentile…while we disagree about U,S. foreign policy and decisions, we want you all home safe, sound, and whole…mind, body and pirit. This is a great tribute to all of the soldiers. Be blessed and may heaven dispatch hundreds of thousands of legions of angels to guide and protect you all.

I read all that is posted here and am extremely happy with what you have done here. These letters and poems hit the heart of those of us who are close to those who fight this war and other wars in the past. It should open the eyes of those who have never understood that we have husbands and children that are forever lost to us in these wars. And some who make it home, but .

"I read the poems and some made me sad, made me want to cry and yet I couldn't stop reading the words that kept filling my screen..I've been doing support work for many years and was once engaged to a Soldier who spent 15 months in Iraq. I've heard the stories, heartache and pain straight from those who serve and it always amazes me, that despite what each of you goes through, you somehow find a ray of hope and good in all this. I lost my guy because he could not deal with all he went through, so I know it's not an easy ordeal or easy to get back to "life", but please keep writing and sharing your feelings and thoughts. Even if you only write them down and no one see's them, it will help you. We do care about all of you here at home and I hope someday soon we see all of you coming home to those you left behind..Take care out there, stay safe and may God bless and watch over each of you."

"This looks promising. As word spreads, the volume of poems, letters and photos will definetly increase bringing about more diversity in views and a look at the global war from different perspectives."
